MAKRAN ON THE FLAMES OF FIRE :-                                                                                                  Today whenever I pass a glance on the circumstances of people of Makran, a flood of tears starts flowing from my eyes and an unbearable pain arises inside my heart. I am not worried that Makran is on fire. But I feel distress when I think, there is no one who can vanish this fire. Today in Makran, I cannot see a single wise and discriminate leader who can liberate the nation from this anguish or agony. The people of Makran are famous for their unity, bravery, hospitality and brotherhood. But today none of the above characteristics are present in almost all the people of Makran. Now they are victoms of individualism. They are no more united. Everyone thinks for it's own benefit and never thinks about the great loss of others. In my opinion, nations are never destroyed due to the casual accidents. They are destroyed when their congregational perception e

It is located near the Pakistani border with Iran, 34 km (21 miles) from the Iranian border. The town has a total population of 25,000 and is expected to become a major commercial center in concert with the development of the port of Gwadar located nearly 80 km (50 miles) to the east. Hinglaj Mata

Image
Hinglaj Mata Sights/Landmarks Hinglaj Mata (Hinglaj Devi, Hingula Devi, Nani Mandir) is a Hindu temple in Hinglaj, a town on the Makran Coast in Balochistan, and is the middle of the Hingol National Park. It is one of the Shakti Peethas of the goddess Sati, and is a form of Durga or Devi located in a mountain cave on the banks of the Hingol River. The cave temple of Hinglaj Mata is situated 250 km (160 mi) northwest of Karachi, at the end of a range of Kirthar hills in the Makran desert stretch on the west bank of Hingol River. The shrine is located in a small natural cave with a low mud altar. There is no man-made image of the goddess, and a small shapeless stone is worshipped as Hinglaj Mata. The stone is smeared with sindoor (vermilion), which possibly gives the location its Sanskrit name Hingula - root of the present-day name Hinglaj. Google Maps Location: 25.5122836,65.5173429

Princess of Hope

Image
Princess of Hope Sights/Landmarks Princess of Hope is a natural rock formation that manifests a princess looking beyond horizons (maybe for hope). The sea breeze coming from the Arabian Sea has worked for many years an expert craftsman to carve this beautiful sculpture. Princess of Hope stands high in the mountain range along with Makran Coastal Highway. The entire landscape is covered with gorges and mountains of mud and rock. Climatic changes, rain and strong winds coming from the sea have transformed these rocks into nicely sculpted objects – the Princess of Hope is just one of them. The formation of Princess of Hope is so perfect that it appears to be a masterpiece of a skilled artisan who has made no mistake in transforming this rock into a princess. The name Princess of Hope was given by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie on her visit to this area.

Lion Of Balochistan

Image
Lion of Balochistan Sights/Landmarks People will not believe if it is said that a Sphinx existed in any country other than Egypt. But in fact there is a naturally curved shape like sphinx in the world, at about 250 km from Karachi, Pakistan on the Makran coastal highway. This structure is naturally carved by winds and rains; however, on seeing it one will not trust his eyes that this is a  naturally carved structure. As you travel on the Makran coastal highway from Karachi eastwards to Gwadar, just after you pass the Kund Malir beach and enter into the twisting and turning road of the ‘Buzzi Pass’ you start see unique formations of mountains  at the place. Just traveling about 20 mins from Kund Malir you see a very finely carved structure of sphinx waiting for your sight on the top of a mountain
