Human Rights Violation
The violation of human Rights is being from six decades in different parts of the World. United Nations (UN) is almost failed to stop such violence yet. It is a big question mark for the World. Human rights advocates agree that, sixty year after its issue, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is still a dream than a reality. UDHR was adopted by United Nations General Assembly on 10 December, 1948 at Paris which states the basic rights and fundamental freedoms to which all human beings are entitled. But unfortunately violations exist in every part of the World. According to Amnesty International World Report 2017 and other sources;
• At least 113 countries arbitrary restricted freedom of expression and the press.
• 122 or more countries tortured people.
• Individuals in more than 60 countries face unfair trials.
Genocide In Myanmar:-
The recent ethnic cleansing of Rohingya muslims in Myanmar is a clear example of worst human rights violation. It completely breaches almost all the articles ( 1 to 30 ) of UDHR and International Humanitarian Law. Burma's Quasi-civilian government after coming in power started a military operation called "Clearance Operation" against muslims minorities especially 1.2 million ethnic Rohingya. After an attack by Rohingya militants group at her border area post killing six security forces in August. In this operation, Myanmar uses scorched earth tactics in Rohingya muslims majority area, Rakhine. According to Amnesty International, Myanmar army carried out 'ethnic cleansing' of the Rohingya as nearly 4,30,000 flee to Bangladesh. During this operation, Rohingya faced rampant and systemic human rights violation. The atrocities on Rohingya include mass-gang rape, killings including of babies and young children, brutal beatings, disappearances and serious human rights violation by country's security forces. According to OHCRH, it's human rights team noted that more than half of the women they interviewed reported having suffered rape or other forms of sexual violence. They also noted that several people were killed in indiscriminate and random shooting while fleeing for safety. The most rampant act was reportedly killing an eight month baby while his mother was being gang-raped by five security forces. According to one survivor, " There used to be 900 houses in our village; now only 80 are left. There is no one left to even bury the bodies".
Syria and Other Countries Crisis:
The Syrian Civil War-now four and a half years deep created the historic humanitarian and refugee crisis in modern human history. An estimate 11 million Syrian's have fled the bloody conflict. According to UN, about 6.3 million people are internally displaced and 5 million seeking refuge in abroad. The conflict's death toll topped more than 4,70,000 people. According to Syrian Network of Human Rights, more than 1,17,000 have been detained or disappeared since 2011. Torture and ill-treatment are rampant in detention facilities; thousands have died in detention. Several thousands civilians had died in air-strikes and suicide bomb attacks like in Afghanistan. According to local Syrian group, at least 12,679 person had died in the custody of government due to widespread torture,abuse, starvation, beatings, and disease like in Kashmir and Balochistan, Pakistan.
Violation of human rights is also taking place in Kashmir and Balochistan. According to International Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, more than 20,000 innocent Baloch were missing by 2016, of whom more than 2500 were killed. Mostly including teachers, doctors, students, lawyers, engineers, lawyers, social worker and journalists. Same type of atrocities are also being on Kashmiri's in Indian-Occupied Kashmir by Indian forces. According to speech of M.Lodhi in UNGA, India's brutal occupation of Kashmir had killed over 1,00,000 innocent Kashmiris and blinded thousands of Kashmiri's children by using pellet guns.
In short, the human rights violation and devastating cruelty exist almost in every country of the World. Mostly in Burma, Syria, Somalia, Uganda, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Israel/Palastine, India, Pakistan, Venezuela, Crimea, Serbia, Libya, Iraq and many other countries. In order to stop violation of human rights and to ensure and enforce human rights law, all the human rights organization of the world must take very stick action against the country or community were such violence is happening. These organization include UDHR, OHCRH, Amnesty International, International Federation of Human Rights,Human Rights Watch , Freedom House, World Organization Against Torture and Anti Slavery International. Not only these organization but also all the people of the world must rise their to pressurize the country or community wherever it is occurring. If UN failed to enforce human rights laws in coming few years then remember the famous quote " Where judicial settlement ends, war begins".
